Tampa 2010

Tuesday October 19 - Wednesday October 27

8 wonderful days in Tampa, FL

New York Islanders @ Tampa Bay Lightning

New York Islanders @ Tampa Bay Lightning

The second day in Tampa, we went to hockey game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Islanders. The game was decided in overtime where they had a Video Preview. Tired and satisfied we went back to the hotel.

HB Plant Panthers @ Alonso Raven

Friday Night Lights should of course be experienced live! Friday we went and saw two very good high school teams. Alonso Ravens and HB Plant Pantera. It is clear how good these players are, despite their youth. They are very well trained with few mistakes on the field.

Rice University Owls @ UCF Knights

College game with tail-gate party! Saturday we drove to Orlando and saw UCF Knights against Rice University Owls. We started with a barbeque before the game, a very popular event. It was an experience to be on a College Area and see all the students. The game was very well played in which the home team Knights departed with victory.

St. Louis Rams @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Sunday it was time for NFL! We started with a tailgate party in the parking lot of the stadium. The game was exciting all the way to the last minute where Buccaners decided by a TD with only seconds left of the game!

Tour of Yuengling Brewing Co.

We also did some excursions beyond football and one of them went to Yuengling Brewing, which is America's oldest brewery.

Tour of the Raymond James Stadium

A very popular tour was of Raymond James Stadium, which is Tampa Bay Buccaners and USF Bulls home arena. We went into one of the largest suites and the famous pirate ship! We also got a look at the changing rooms for the players who were surprisingly empty of details.

The whole trip gave us a fantastic weather!
